The Haunted Palace Episode 6 Review

The Haunted Palace Episode 6 is at its best, unfolding plot twists, building tension, and blending emotional development with supernatural horror. The writing stays sharp and mysterious, giving characters like Gangcheol and Yan-ri deeper arcs, while also reintroducing Bi Bi, whose chaotic energy adds a wild card element. The moral ambiguity of characters like Poong San and the Queen Dowager reinforces the idea that human evil is often more frightening than demonic threats.

Visually, the episode leans into haunting cinematography, dim candlelit corridors, cursed objects, and glowing spiritual elements. The performances, especially by Yook Sung-jae (Gangcheol) and Bona (Yeo-ri), carry the emotional weight of betrayal, confusion, and longing with convincing depth.
