June 2025 Kdramas: 8 Upcoming Jaw-Dropping Korean Dramas You Need to Watch This June

June 2025 Kdramas are here. I don’t even know where to begin; the lineup is just a chef’s kiss. We’ve got thrillers, romances, fantasy, action, and even a long-awaited sequel (Squid Game fans, you already know). If your watchlist is ready for a refresh, these 8 upcoming K-dramas are going to keep you glued to your screen all month long.

These Top 8 June 2025 Kdramas are set to steal the spotlight this month.

1. Hunter with a Scalpel

June 2025 Kdramas

June 2025 Kdramas: Park Ju Hyun, Park Yong Woo, Kang Hoon

A forensic pathologist uncovers a shocking truth—her father might be involved in a murder she’s investigating. And instead of turning him in, she decides to beat the cops to him. This one sounds so good. High-stakes, morally complicated, and led by Park Ju-hyun? I’m watching it the moment it drops.

2. Squid Game Season 3

June 2025 Kdramas: Lee Jung Jae, Wi Ha Joon, Lee Byung Hun

It’s finally here. The last season of Squid Game, and from what’s been teased, it’s going to be the darkest and most brutal yet. Gi-hun is back, but this time, the hunter might become the hunted. The new games are said to be more terrifying.  Whether you’re here for the mind games, the deeper themes, or the survival madness—there’s no way we’re skipping this. It will surely streaming on Netflix.

3. Salon de Holmes

June 2025 Kdramas: Lee Si Young, Jung Young Joo, Kim Da Som, Nam Gi Ae

This one is giving Sherlock Holmes…with attitude. Four totally different women—a retired detective, a part-timer, an insurance investigator, and a shaman—join forces to crack cases around their apartment complex. Sounds wild? It is. And I’m here for it. Quirky, chaotic, and female-driven? Add to your watchlist immediately.

4. Our Movie

June 2025 Kdramas: Jeon Yeo Been, Namkoong Min

This one’s going to break us—just saying it now. A struggling director meets an aspiring actress with a terminal illness, and they fall for each other while making a film. If you love slow, beautiful, emotionally layered dramas that stay with you (think Just Between Lovers), Our Movie will absolutely hit you in the heart.

5. Mercy for None

June 2025 Kdramas: So Ji Sub, Huh Joon Ho

So, Ji-sub in a dark, gritty revenge drama? Say no more. He plays a former gang leader who fakes his death to leave that life behind—until his younger brother is murdered. Now he’s out for blood. This one looks intense, stylish, and totally addicting. My Name fans, take note.

6. Love Phobia

June 2025 Kdramas: Yeon Woo, Kim Hyun Jin

A boy keeps meeting the same mysterious girl over the years, and no matter how many times she disappears, she always leaves a mark. Love Phobia looks soft, emotional, and full of that nostalgic, can’t-let-go-of-you kind of love. If you love quiet, heart-hitting romances, this one’s calling your name.

7. First Night with the Duke

June 2025 Kdramas: Seo Hyun, Ok Taec Yeon

Based on a hit webtoon, this one’s pure fun. A college student suddenly wakes up in the body of a side character from her favourite fantasy novel…after spending the night with the male lead. Oops? What follows is a charming, chaotic romance full of misunderstandings and magical moments. It’s cut, light, and totally bingeable.

8. Head Over Heels

June 2025 Kdramas: Cho Yi Hyun, Choo Young Woo

Another webtoon adaptation and another one I’m so ready for. A high school shaman tries to save a boy with a tragic fate, and of course, feelings get involved. It’s got that Extraordinary You energy with a little Hotel Del Luna sprinkled in. So, if you like your romances with fate, mystery, and some supernatural sparkle, don’t sleep on this.

Final Thoughts

Honestly? June is stacked. Whether you’re in the mood for a romantic escape, a heart-racing thriller, or a tearjerker that ruins your sleep schedule (in the best way), there’s something on this list you’re going to love.

My top picks? I’m personally not missing Salon de Holmes, Hunter with a Scalpel, and, of course, Squid Game 3 (because who isn’t watching that?)
