While Accepting Baeksang Arts Awards’s the Best Drama Award, Director Kim Won-seok delivered a heartfelt message:

Ju Ji Hoon and Kim Tae Ri Shine as Best Actor and Best Actress at Baeksang 2025
Ju Ji-hoon was awarded Best Actor for his gripping role in The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call. Ju’s portrayal of a trauma surgeon navigating life-or-death decisions and personal demons struck a nerve with audiences, making the drama one of the most emotionally impactful series globally of the year.

On the other side of the spotlight, Kim Tae Ri secured the Best Actress Award for her powerful performance in Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born. The musical drama follows the life of a young woman navigating ambition, identity, and heartbreak in the world of Korean Theater.
“Kim Tae Ri also took home the Daesang(Grand Prize), cementing her status as one of Korea’s most acclaimed actresses in 2025”.
Hosting Trio and Memorable Moments
The charismatic trio Shin Dong-yup, Suzy, and Park Bogum hosted the show and guided the night with elegance and humor. Park Bogum, also starring in When Life Gives You Tangerines, experienced the night from both sides— as host and honoree.
